The Indian stock market has been experiencing volatility in recent times, with the Nifty struggling to find direction. According to Sudeep Shah, Vice President and Head of Technical & Derivatives Research at SBI Securities, the Nifty's unclear direction is a cause for concern for investors. In an interaction with ETMarkets, Shah outlined strategies for Bajaj Finance and Eternal, two key stocks that have been performing well in the market.
Shah's analysis suggests that the Nifty's lack of direction is primarily due to the absence of a clear trend. This has resulted in the market being highly unpredictable, making it challenging for investors to make informed decisions. The analyst has advised investors to be cautious and not to take any major bets in the market until the trend becomes clearer.
For Bajaj Finance, Shah has recommended a buying strategy, citing the stock's strong fundamentals and the company's ability to maintain its growth momentum. He has also suggested that investors can consider buying Eternal, which has shown significant growth in recent times. However, Shah has cautioned that investors should be prepared for a possible correction in the market and should not invest more than they can afford to lose.
